Bridal Bouquet: Red Roses and Stephanotis
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to submit a quotation for your Wedding Flowers.
I hope the following will help answer some of the questions you might have regarding my quotation
and how to proceed should you choose me as your floral designer.
Non-Binding Quotation:
At this point in time I have not reserved time and space to design your wedding flowers,
I do this only when you have accepted my quotation and sent in your retainer fee. I operate on a first come first served basis
and should another Bride send in her retainer I retain the right to cancel your quotation.
Quotation Changes:
I have included all the items we discussed, sometimes this causes my quotation to be higher than your budget,
please call me if this is the case and we will see what we can remove and or change to bring the quotation in line with your budget.
Remember I do have a minimum charge, which varies depending on the Season – currently ranging from: $850
in the height of the season which are Weekends in the Spring and Fall down to $500 on Saturdays during the balance of the year.
Generally, there is no minimum for out of season weekday weddings.
If the quotation you have received is for less than the amounts shown it is a valid quotation, however,
if your quotation is above the minimum then the minimum would apply should you wish to reduce your quotation at some point in the future.
Delivery, set up and taxes are not included in the minimum calculation.
Retainer:
My Retainer is $300 and is NON-refundable, a smaller retainer may apply to bookings under $750.
I accept personal checks, money orders and cash, we do not accept credit cards.
My mailing address is: 9220 Yellow Lake Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654, checks should be made payable to For Better For Less Wedding Flowers.
The retainer amount is not an additional amount above your quoted price – it is credited against your total cost.
Booking Confirmation and Agreement Conditions:
On receipt of your retainer I email you confirmation of receipt and reserve space for your wedding.
I will also send you a short agreement/contract for your signature asking you to keep one copy for your files and return one copy to me.
This form shows the contracted price, retainer and both the balance due and date due, you are committed to spend at least 90% of contracted price with me.
Balance Due:
Your balance is due approx 15 days before your ceremony date.
I order flowers specifically for your wedding and start this process two weekends prior to your wedding date.
Your flowers will not be ordered without my receiving your payment.
Many Brides, who bank with Bank America or have a branch close by deposit their FINAL payment directly into my account at Bank of America.
Our account is For Better For Less Wedding Flowers – Routing code: 540590106 – account number 003738815865 and our zip code is 34654.
Please remember to put you name and wedding date on the paying in slip so we know who made the deposit,
this is most important otherwise we have no idea who paid the money.
Substitution:
Your Quotation lists certain flowers and flower colors,
I will do my best to obtain these flowers from my Tampa Bay wholesalers,
however if not available I will substitute with flowers I believe work well with your overall theme. Some flowers may already be highlighted as "if available".
Rental:
Your rental items, vases, stands, candelabra, bows etc are subject to a deposit which will be refunded when the items are returned in good order.
You should send in a separate check for the deposit, generally we do not deposit this.
You are responsible for returning the Rental items the week following your ceremony to me at a mutually agreed location.
Flowers:
Unless otherwise stated on your Quotation the floral pieces I provide are your property and you should plan to use them after your wedding.
You might want to encourage your guests to take any centerpieces, large church pieces or arch flowers we have provided.
We normally take back any loose flowers we brought as replacements. Rental containers/vases do however need to be returned.
Corsages:
We offer two style of corsage – wrist and magnets – we do not use pins for shoulder corsages only magnets as they don’t leave pin holes,
however these CANNOT be given to ladies who have a pacemaker. Shoulder corsages either magnet or pin cannot be worn with strapless or thin strap dresses.
Liability:
In the event For Better For Less Wedding Flowers fails to comply with the terms of this agreement for any reason,
For Better For Less' liability is limited to a full refund of the monies paid.
In the event of a postponement or cancellation by you, your deposit is non refundable.
Arrival Time:
If your quotation is for personal flowers only we arrive approximately one hour prior to your ceremony time,
if your quotation is for personal flowers and ceremony decorations/centerpieces we arrive approximately one and one half hours prior.
However, I will confirm with you your photographer’s arrival time and shoot sequence, we will arrive 10-15 minutes before the planned shoot start time.
An additional charge will apply should you need your flowers delivered earlier than the hour or one and a half hours as specified above.
Should access roads to your venue be closed or severely restricted for special events we reserve the right to cancel your agreement/contract without recourse,
you are obligated to notify us of potential road closing events prior to submitting your retainer check or when you learn of such closings/restrictions.
Final Details:
Some two to three weeks prior to your wedding, I will be in contact with you to reconfirm all details.
I will ask you to read over your latest quotation and make sure it covers all the items you want, this is my working document for your flowers.
I ask you to reconfirm your ceremony and reception times and make sure you have corsages and boutonnieres for all wedding party members and family
(please send a list the names of those not in the direct wedding party and the name of a person who knows them and can help direct us.
Photographs:
You agree we may use our photographs of your wedding and guests in our promotional materials, web site
and/or as an example of our work for prospective Brides.
Sales Tax:
We use a sales tax basis of 7%, should this change we will adjust your quotation accordingly.
Copyright and Intellectual Property:
This document and my quotation are proprietary forms and as such are not to be copied and or shared with any other Florist or Flower Supplier.
The designs I propose for your wedding flowers are my original ideas and use of them by other entities without my written permission is prohibited.
Contract/Agreement Conditions:
By signing and returning our agreement/contract you agree to and accept items number 1 through 14 listed in this document
which together with your quotation and wedding flowers agreement constitute your agreement/contract conditions
Preservation:
You might like to have your own Bridal Bouquet (or a portion of it) preserved.
We have all details and packaging for Vincenza Flowers, the best floral preservation company we know.
You have to pre-arrange your bouquet preservation – we have many Brides who call some days after their wedding and ask about preservation,
your flowers have to be refrigerated and then Fed X’d to Vincenza on Monday Morning, this ensures your flowers are as fresh as possible.
Whole Bouquet Preservation is very expensive most Brides only have a small part of their bouquet preserved.
